Belt Tension Gauge for PRUSA
Hello,
I built this Belt Tension Gauge for Voron.
On the site there are the standard values for Voron and NEMA motors. There is also a video on how to assemble here.
I purchased also the kit with the metal parts and wire to be sure they were the correct parts. It seems well done, works well, and the measurements are consistent during the time.
I measured the tension on my MK4 and MK3.5 that were tuned with the App PRUSA Acustic belt tuner.
On the MK4 I have: -> X = 2.5 Y = 2.35
On the MK3.5 I have: -> X = 2.6 Y = 2.5
- Is there anyone else that built this gauge and measured the values for a PRUSA printer ?
Ideally a brand new PRUSA assembled would be a good candidate for measuring the belt tension.
Regards
Most of us use:
https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/46639-tension-meter-for-the-gt2-belts-of-i3-mk3s-or-prus
Despite the name it also works for Mk4
It MUST be printed in Prusament PETG or the spring tension will be wrong.
Cheerio,
RE: Belt Tension Gauge for PRUSA
Hi, yes I know it and I used it before. 😉
But I wanted to have a more precise measurement, for this reason I built the new device.
Best Regards.
