Where Are the Upgrade Instructions for the Extruder?
First, I checked here, which looks like it's the upgrade instructions, specifically for the extruder. The only part that applies to the extruder is about re-wrapping the cables going to the xBuddy Box. I've also checked for this info in the MMU3 instructions, in case it was there. The IR sensor part of that doesn't include much of the assembly info for it.
My main issues is the IR sensor. I cannot find a spot, when adjusting it, so that it will give me NINS when the filament isn't in, and INS when it's inserted. I have spent well over an hour trying to adjust the positioning of the IR sensor. (I'm using the section on calibrating this sensor in the Knowledge Base.) I've moved the sensor part as finely as possible, but there is simply no position in the adjustment range where it reads NINS without filament in and INS when it's there.
I want clarification of how that part of the extruder is put together when upgrading the IR sensor (for the MMU3, as I remember, but I was pretty sure there was more of an upgrade for the 3.5 and not just the MMU3).
I think, until I ran into recent issues, I had just left the sensor disabled. I'm not sure about that, but I considering the errors with this, and no position for the sensor to work properly, I'm hoping I just did something wrong when assembling this part for the upgrade. I want more information on just how the upgraded sensor works and those assembly manuals are the places I'd think that would be found.
