Prusa i3 MK3S+ hot end
I have a I3 printer that I purchase in 2021, is there any benefit to be had in installing a new ED3 Prusa V6 hot end as it look identical to what I have? The Rapid Heat CHC V6 Hotend Ceramic Heating Core Bimetal Heatbreak Copper Titanium replacement hotend look like a better design but not enough to warrant a lot of modifications to make it work.
What fault is causing you to consider replacement?
The E3D hotend should last a loooong time.

RE: Prusa i3 MK3S+ hot end
A large part I was printing a large part that detached from the work plate and the plastic balled up around the thermistor and heater wires. Those both need to be replaced and I am upgrading the printer to a MK3.5S and didn't know if I would benefit from a complete new hotend. I liked the idea of a ceramic hotend because it keeps the heater & thermistor wires further away from the working surface.
The various high speed hotends/nozzles are rarely as effective as some people expect. The higher speeds only make a significant difference on larger parts with simple straight extrusion runs. Against this they have a greater tendency to clog.
