Are we can have an "Abandoned" marking. I 've seen this done on other forums.

 in regards to the posts and marking them as solved. I edited the post and added "I am talking about several months after the post" 

Perhaps we need a new class of closure and icon: "Presumed solved" and "✓?" - thoughts anyone?

But isn't it clear enough when a thread slowly sinks down the list of topics in a forum section, until it disappears to page 2?

Personally, I consider the existing choice of status icons excessive already. I find them rather distracting and can never remember what they mean anyway, especially the first four:
