Askew prints/ weird layer shift

Hello there,

i have got a problem, where the prints have some kind of weird curve at the bottom layers. It only seems to happen on those layers and only then the prints are larger sized/ multiple prints. Seems to be a problem in the x-axis. (I also already checked the belt tension and the screws on the extruder carriage)problem piecesits supposed to be straight

It didn't seem to occur before but i might just have not seen the problem due to the nature of the previous prints. I just realized it, when i tried to print the parts for the MK3s upgrade.

Help is greatly appreciated.

Standard X-Axis check: Power the printer off and move the extruder from side to side.

Does it move smoothly in both directions, or can you feel any binding? Should not feel any grinding either...

Does the belt droop (technical term) when you are moving it?

The photos aren't really showing any significant problem, and your description isn't really saying much, either.

In general, large parts warp.  All plastic does it, including PLA. When a part warps, it can lift off the bed and cause problems.  I'm not seeing any obvious sign that is happening. But PLA on a textured sheet is known to have adhesion problems, so warp/lift is certainly possible.

As for any shifting? I really can't see any evidence of layer shifting in your photos.  I do see symptoms of loose belts.

Firstly, thanks for the fast reply.

I dont know how to describe the problem, so i marked it this time. (red how it is, green, how its supposed to be)

Also: Its sticking perfectly to the bed (no lifting at all), the problem occurs only on the bottom layers and it has not been a problem before.

I got a problem with it, since its the parts for the Upgrade and the problem makes the prints practically unusable for this.

Ah, and the Material is PETG. I also use the Lack-Enclosure and keep the PETG from moisture.

That deviation looks like very loose belts.

I found the Problem.

I cleaned the smooth x rods etc. and ran the selftest again and this time it said the pulley was loose (Didnt get it the first two times). It seems that one fixed it.

Thank you for all your suggestions.
