Help with Prusa Slicer Settings
I am printing face shields for local front line medics. The final print looks good but the internal layers don't appear to be fusing. I have always used default settings on Slicer with my Prusa I3 MK3 so I am new to tweaking Slicer other than for layouts.

I would like the shield frame to be strong so would appreciate any help with fixing my PrusaSlicer-2.20 file please ?
I switched to these from the Prusa version because with ohp slides light weight and you can wear them like glasses.

Hi Alex,
have you tried breaking one of the prints?
You may be worrying too much!
to improve bond strength you could try a slightly higher temperature or try increasing the extrusion multiplier a little

If those pics are the 1st layer, you could lower your Live-Z a bit. I'd go more negative 0.02-0.04mm. Otherwise, it's just cosmetic and subsequent layers should be strong. Print one out and try twisting it. Most of these will be one-time or limited use, so don't worry too much about long-term use.

Thanks Joan. They do feel strong enough. I will look for an online resource that have high resolution examples I can compare with as I realy have no idea of how the prints should look close up. The test strip I do is similar to Prusa's first layer calibration example which is very strong with minor ridges.

I have lowered the Z slightly and then did a destruction test and was satisfied that they are not going to break under normal use. I had so stretch the arms to almost horizontal before they broke. I am very impressed with the I3 MK3 reliability now that I have everything maintained properly. Thanks Alex
