ERR: NO IP

Recently, i always get this error, which results in the printer stopping the print in a couple of minutes because of a safety timer, even though the gcode is on the RPi and could be printed out successfully. Is this a known bug, maybe my RPi is faulty? I have not had any issues with it with octoprint. The wifi is rock stable, it should not disconnect just like that. Maybe maintenance on the server side?

RE: ERR: NO IP

The root cause of the actual "ERR: NO IP" aside (I'm getting those too and I'm currently trying to figure out the reason), I'm surprised your prints actually abort. My Pi Zero 2 W just keeps happily feeding the printer with GCODE even after it loses remote control/telemetry right to the successful conclusion of the print. Are you sure the UART connection  isn't intermittent on yours? Have you seen this post: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/introcuctions-instrutctions/if-nudging-the-rpi-resets-your-printer-re-solder-the-pins/#post-611790  ?

I modified the OS so that it uses the USB port instead of the UART pins, as I'm using an RPi 3B. I would rather use a Zero, but I just can't buy one... The connection should be OK, because as I have said, it works just fine with OctoPrint. I have just put OctoPrint back on the SD card, and it right away greeted me with an overheating issue. I have installed a fan over the pi now. I will respond if it helped or not. Maybe this wasnt an issue in the winter because the printer sits by the windows and it almost always gets fresh air, but now with 35C+ outside..

RE:

Hi, sorry, on vacation. There is a bug that affects the rpi zero 1 more than 2. It's a race condition between the pi and the printer. You got a 3B+… that should be equivalent to zero2 tho, idk.

There is a thread with a fix you can try, but beware, it's a bit involved https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/postid/612070/

So i have been using it with a fan since then and the problem has not surfaced since, so it has probably just been overheating. I think some warnings should be implemented into PrusaLink too, it would be so useful.

Yup, I also haven't had any more problems since I began using this.
