New Firmware? What changed?
Hi there,
I noticed that all of my four Buddy3D cameras whent into a firmware upgrade rave party today. It seemed like they did three updates in succession.
Does anyone know what changed? Is there a firmware changelog site somewhere?

Just wrote post about the update loop. For some reason the camera updated three times in a row. Don't see any difference anywhere.

In the lower right of the PrusaConnect screen, the feedback feature contains a Changelog button:
Buddy3D Camera – Changelog v3.0.4
New Features and Improvements
- Color Enhancements: Added color correction for better image quality.
- Name Change: The camera in Connect has been renamed to "Buddy3D Camera".
Fixes and Stability
- WiFi Fixes: Resolved an issue with support for spaces and special characters in WiFi passwords.
- Update Stability:
- Fixed an issue with OTA updates causing the camera to become non-functional after a power outage (applies to FW 3.0.0 and earlier).
- Added a sound notification at the start of the update process.
- Resolved an issue with unintended firmware downgrades during OTA updates.

Well after the firmware update, my camera is stuck in monochromatic mode. Any advise?

Those owners who were never able to get their camera online due to password special character limitations will not be able to get the update, so they’re stuck unless they can temporarily get online via another network such as a phone hotspot. If you can get online, the camera will automatically update its firmware. Then you can factory reset it, and delete the camera setup in Prusa Connect, and perform a new installation. Otherwise, contact Prusa for a physical exchange to the latest version.
