Buddy3D SD Card Slot / Firmware
Hey folks,
I recently got myself a couple of Buddy3D cameras for my printers. However, I'm a bit curious about future functionality of the SD card slot and / or if it will be used for different things then firmware updates. I saw that currently it's only used for this purpose (link), but I would really like to be able to save pictures onto microSD cards with this.
Does there exist any other solutions to saving the images sent to Prusa connect from the camera for the purpose of time lapses or documentation? And, do we know when we can expect firmware updates to come for camera movement control?
RE: Buddy3D SD Card Slot / Firmware
I'd say the hardware doesn't support of movement control - only manual.
I also miss being able to connect to a live stream on a local network.
RE: Buddy3D SD Card Slot / Firmware
I am really disappointed with this camera they surely could have got a camera that worked properly out of the box. I spent £3500 on a printer that has a £35 camera that at the moment only works in monochrome.

@Macmagoo - This is the low light/night vision mode which is infrared or monochrome. Try putting a brighter light over the printer to shine where the camera is facing. Or, a rather extreme option, crack open the camera and pull out the photodiode so it gets better light. (The light is most certainly the best option)
