Wi-Fi Connection successful, but no image in Prusa App
I’m trying to install the Buddy3D camera on an MK4S using the Prusa app. The setup completes with a “Wi-Fi connection successful” message, and the camera appears in the app, but there is no image—only a black screen with a crossed-out camera icon.
I’ve repeated the installation process more than 20 times, each time unpairing the camera from the printer and resetting it to factory settings, but the result is always the same.
Has anyone encountered this issue or found a solution?Buddy3D

What firmware is installed on the Buddy3D? I know we had some issues with our Buddy3d on the 1.2 and 1.1 firmware. Updating it to the 1.3 fixed those issues as well as others... but then introduced some other issues. The current FW is 1.4 and so far we haven't had problems with it on our XL setup

I don’t know, as this information has never been displayed in Prusa Connect, and I have not been able to access the camera at any point.

I've had the same issue, but I was able to work around it by using my home router's wireless network versus my personal router (with custom dns, pihole, etc.). It would be nice for it to log details out to the sdcard, I'd much rather use it on the latter.

you can enable writing logs to the microsd card https://github.com/nvtkaszpir/3d-print/tree/main/prusa-buddy3d-camera#enabling-telnet
See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

Thank you all—I really appreciate it, but I’ll be returning it as it’s more trouble than I expected.
