Buddy 3D camera - No Rotate option in connect
My Buddy3D camera is mounted upside down. I can't flip the view in Prusa Connect. I have read the different posts on this subject, and people are just stating to hit the rotate button on the view to flip the camera view. This works for me in the app, but there is no rotate button showing up for me in Connect.

That does not work at all! It just turns the thumbnail! On the App it works great but on the web it does not work. Thats why I said I have the same issue!

Dumb question because I can't see the set up.
Can't you rotate the camera in your set up? Either the physical mount, or rotate the camera itself from the controls?
can you take a picture of your set up and if its not possible, I will submit it to the connect devs

It should not matter! Everybody has a different setup. If it’s working in the app to rotate then it should work on the web page also. Only thing rotating is the thumbnail. This is something the developers should fix ASAP. If I mount it sideways I need to be able to rotate it within the web page!

Actually it does matter, hence why I asked, but if you don't want to provide that info, that is fine and when the developers ask what position the camera is on so they can properly look at things, it will take longer...

Actually it does not matter. Other cams you can EASILY rotate flip and mirror the image and video. Only Prusa Connect has not correctly implemented this simple function. Everybody has a different setup thats why such a BASIC function is needed. You can argue all you want on this point but those are the facts.

I don't understand how they still haven't fixed this. This bug has existed for over a year now. 2 of my 4 buddy cameras have already died. As much as I love my printers, Prusa has been dropping the ball for a few years. My MK4 still doesn't have crash detection since they removed it from beta firmware. Ugh. If I didn't have a severe mistrust of bambu, I probably would've moved to them.

Seems like they may be lacking developers for rockchip camera they created, or the number of users reporting the issue is so low that it is not worth developing.

Bambu are great! Not one issue with mine. They are now what prusa drifted away from. Prusa is not a premium brand yet they sell it as one. They are so far behind with development and Bambu and co. Have features that prusa only dream of

People will stop reporting when things dont get fixed or you get useless comments from Admins!

Your only showing half the issue. How stupid do you think people are? Go into Live view then lets see what it does!!!

as you can how do I put this mildly so not to offend anyone? As you can clearly see once you go into live view it is upside down. Where as if you use the APP its the right way around. I dont care about the update every 10 seconds. I care about the live view. this is the issue and this is something the developers need to fix. its a simple fix.

Just FYI for anyone reading this thread, this is a commonly requested feature and should likely be implemented soon in a better and more clear way then before. Thanks for the feedback anyone and sorry about current frustrations.
