Stringy Prints On 2 of 5 Prusa Mini+ Printers

I have 2 Prusa Mini's and 3 Mini+ printers. The 2 Mini's have been upgraded to Mini+.  I am having this issue on 2 printers, one is an upgraded unit and one is a factory Mini+.  All printers are unit the same PLA filament. I have replaced the nozzles on each printer and replaced the bowden filament gear drive on each without any improvement. I am printing the same gcode on all printers.

Any thoughts on the next possible cause?

Thanks

Joel

Those prints are terrible. Have you dried the filament?

Hmm. Wet filament like cwbullet said, or your filament profile in slicer does not match what you have actually loaded. Or you have tweaked the temperature so low that filament does not fuse together almost at all.

That is one cause I forgot - if your slicer profile is different or you have the wrong filament loaded, it can cause the print to be stringy.

Solution

Looks like I figured it out. It was the PTFE tube going into the extruder, I replaced it and everything is working.  Thanks for the thoughts and ideas.
