Prusa mini+, print keeps getting knocked around by the nozzle and having to stop the print

Hia there, first time 3D printer user and just assembled my Prusa Mini. I was trying to 3D print one of the included prints as a test but every time I do it eventually gets pushed around by the nozzle by snagging onto it and I have to stop the print or else it just makes a mess.

I have tried running the calibration again, and adjusting the Z-Axis and have tried different prints and the same issue keeps happening

I am sure this is something that's super obvious or has a well made guide somewhere, but can't find it anywhere. So if anyone could please point me to the right direction or some ideas on what to try, that'd be awesome. Thanks! 🙂

The first and second attempts, the Screw and bolt prints: (Both had Z-Axis on 0.0 adjustment)

The third and last attempt, the Pursa logo print: (Had Z-axis on -100 adjustment)

Was able to talk to some people over a Discord group, and they recommended me to try glue or a glass top and to maybe lower my nozzle as they think it's too high. So gonna try those tips tomorrow but if anyone else has any other clues or recommendations as well I am all ears! 🙂

@ferengi

U don't need the glass bed.

Use the 20-30% isopropil to clean up bed and mix the isopropil, water and PVA glu for apply to printer bed.

I print the PLA without glu - it's ok, bup PEGT with glu.

And recalibrate Z. I think -100 it's small param for PRUSA MINI. Often it's 250-500mkm

I would definitely say your nozzle is far too far from the bed. not getting squashed at all and no bed adhesion.

You need to adjust your live Z until you get a good first layer.

Yours is currently at the too high stage.

Tank you very much!

I may be wrong but isn't the PINDA inducive? Won't it see the glass as thin air?

Your Z is way, way to high.  Make it more negative.
