Mini ripping print off the bed pla all over the extruder

History:

This is brand new printer.  I upgraded the firmware to 4.3.0.  I was able to get the bed leveled.  I have done 5 prints so far and I love the quality.  However, I had a neighbor ask me to create and print a key holder for them.  From what I can tell the first layer prints fine and after that it appears the extruder pauses creates a pool of pla and then kicks back in again.  This in turn rips the model off the bed.  I will attach images.  I am not sure what is happening during this time but also the pla gets all over the extruder for some reason.  I also have images of this.  This is the first major issue I've had with my Mini.

This image is from the extruder after the print.  I've attempted to print this 2 times now and the extruder ends up the same each time.  I have to pre-heat the hotend to clean it off.

Here is the object after the first layer is printed.  There are two things to note here that make believe the Gcode is messed up.  One the back part of the model is melted (semi doesn't fit my theory) and there is a large sum pla by in the middle of the object by the rough cut out of the Mickey mouse head.  Actually, there are two build ups.  One at the bottom of the head (recessed) and one above (pooling).

It should be noted that first layer is complete prior this this happening meaning the back of the monorail is complete and secure to the bed.  After whatever happens each time this is the result.

Ok, so now I have an update.  I was able to actually to complete the print.  I re-sliced the model and I chose .10 mm instead of the .7.  That seems to have fixed everything.  After that I attempted to print the hooks and now I am having different issues.
