Probe never low enough

Had an issue and the printer said it had not been calibrated. I did the calibration again and it always grabs the paper no matter how low I put the probe. I followed that the instructions said to do with the zip tie and even put it closer than that but it always grabs the paper. Any thoughts to what I’m missing?

Contact support by chat.  You may have a bad probe.

A red LED should normally light up on the sensor. As soon as you drive with a metallic object near the sensor head, it should go out. If it doesn't or if the LED doesn't shine at all, I would, as charles already mentioned, contact the Prusachat.
