Minor artifacts on first benchy print - Mini+
Hello All,
Just built up my first Prusa Mini+. Ran through first layer checks without any noticeable issues.
Ran through a first print using the 3D benchy (from the supplied flash drive) - for the most part I'm pretty stoked of the outcome 🙂
However there are a few artifacts that I am not sure how to troubleshoot.
Left side hawsepipe - can't tell if its slight ringing, or some instability.
Front side overhang window frame - slight ghosting.
Left side nameplate - diagonally opposite side to the hawsepipe issue. Not entirely sure what this is.
I didn't choose a very good filament colour for photo contrast - sorry! 😀
Prusa Mini fw v4.3.4
Prusa PLA with 0.4mm nozzle (default).
There are a few things I had in mind to try:
1) Some stringing was present, which I cleared before the photos. May try adjusting retraction or printing speed.
2) Its been raining all week, and humidity would be very poor. I don't have an enclosure yet, so may have to preempt with dehumidifier/heater combo prior to print.
Is there anything else worth looking into?
