Little holes with new extruder?

Hello,

since I've changed my extruder to an Bondtech, now i have little holes in my print. Can someone Tell me what this could be??? Bondtech said i have to set the steps to 415 for the extruder. Could this be to low?

Thanks

could it be that they are seam points?

No it was the Z-length retraction. The lenght was at 3.2mm and i changed it to 2mm. Now the holes are gone!!!

I know but for the Mini it is 3.2 I don't know why.

I know but for the Mini it is 3.2 I don't know why.

Because the Mini has a bowden extruder. Not a direct extruder like the one the i3 MK3 uses. Those extruders usually need more retraction to compensate for the clearance within the PTFE-tube.

Strange, the screenshot I posted is from a stock PRSlicer with only a Mini profile...

RE: Little holes with new extruder?

It is strange indeed, I have located the INI profile and loo what I found

retract_length = 3.2

thus this is the value the printer really uses (when the lock is enabled)
