LCD Assembly, what am I missing here
Hi All,
I just received my Prusa Mini+, trying to assemble, following the directions... things were going fine until I got to the LCD assembly part. Something seems odd here, the LCD does not seem to fit/attach with the body properly, the M20 screw does not go all the way in either and reaches its limit way before its fully in. I tried to have a look at the online manual, the pictures show a slightly different part (could be an older version in the online pictures, but that does look like a proper fit for the LCD). This one now, just doesn't look right to me. Can someone please tell me if I am missing something or is this supposed to be like this? Thanks.

What assembly pictures show online (and looks like correct fitting to me):
(Please ignore the arrow with Allan Key, I am taking about the bottom left corner, where the LCD attaches).

Okay, after some thinking, I gave it a second go. Turns out I was being too nice, and it needed some hard screwing :/ Almost felt like I was about to break the supplied Allan Key, but in the end, it does seem to work now. All good.

I just got to this step and had the same issue. There seems to be a problem with the manual and the actual part. The manual (1.06) says to use M3x12 but this is not included, it's M3x20. The manual shows a printed part but it's actually injection moulded. The M3x12 screw seems far too short and doesn't self tap into the injection moulded part... I also had to use the M3x20 and really screw down very hard.

Yes, the manual with mine has the same issue too as there are 2 variations of the Mini. The online manual mentions both but the paper manual doesn't. The only other difference that I could see was the hole for the Y axis cable. It's a bit annoying as I spent ages trying to get the spare M12 to grab the frame and it wouldn't.

I just ran into the Y axis cable issue too. I had to disassemble the whole thing to get the cable through the front hole. The ribon cable for the LCD also doesn't line up with the cut-out... it's off by about 1/3.
