How do I eliminate "strings" between multiple print objects?

I do not know if "stringing" is the correct terminology, but the image below shows the problem.  These model barrels are 12mm tall.

Printing single barrels does eliminate stringing, but I need to do multiple objects, so my questions are:

1. Can stringing be eliminated?  How?

2. How can I remove strings?  I have tried liquid acetone, but that does not work  🙁

Any and all help appreciated

The best method to avoid the stringing from object to object is to use Sequential-printing. From your picture, you should be able to take advantage of that.

Your filament is damp, dry it, the surface quality will improve as well.

To remove strings use a heat gun or (careful) a lighter flame.
