Ubis nozzle compatible with E3D hotend?

Hi all,

I recently discovered a stash of different sized Ubis nozzles I used to use with my PrintrBot simple pro. They look pretty similar to the E3D nozzle, and I found a post of someone showing a E3D nozzle in a Ubis hotend, but does anyone know if Ubis nozzles will work in the E3D hotend?

Thanks!

I don't have a Ubis nozzle so the only advice I can offer is if the thread length is the same, and the pitch and thread are the same, and the part of the filament that mates with the hot break is perfectly flat then it's probably fine.

Cheers

Thanks for the response. Here are some pictures for reference. They appear to be the same overall length and have the same threads, but the Ubis nozzle has a weird taper towards the top. The Ubis opening also seems a bit bigger, and I'm concerned that there might be leakage due to the way the threads taper at the top.
