RE:
That's what I was going to ask you... I'm using the 5.1.2 corrected by @turro75 to avoid flickering of the original firmware
RE:
I have not had to worry about flickering since they instituted the new versions with input shaping.

RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
Try to downgrade the firmware. My orig. Prusa Mini is running with fw 4.2.1 (tried div. hotends: Revo ok, MK3 E3D ok).
I can't say whether your problem is caused by the firmware, but a test with an older version may provide new insights.

RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
I have downloaded to firmware 4.4.1 and it gives me the same error...
With cable unplugging from board 12208 and with the cable plugged into board 12206.
RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
I've finally solved it... I think it was something badly connected. I disassembled everything, I started from scratch and the magic happened.... it worked.
I have no other explanation.
Thank you so much, @Karl-herbert and @cwbullet for the help!!

RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
Hi All,
I updated the patch file to the latest 6.1.2 to enable also the skew correction.
For those who want to build it on his own this is the sequence (I'm on MAC M2):
First of all ensure You are using python3.11 or the build process will fail, on Mac I use the following commands in a terminal:
brew install [email protected]
git clone https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware-Buddy.git cd Prusa-Firmware-Buddy git checkout ffed3df #this forces version 6.1.2
Now copy the file Fysetc_6.patch to the dir Prusa-Firmware-Buddy
patch -p1 < ./Fysetc_6.patch python3.11 -m venv .venv python3.11 utils/build.py --preset mini,mini-en-es,mini-en-cs,mini-en-de,mini-en-es,mini-en-fr,mini-en-it,mini-en-pl,mini-en-jp --build-type release
You can skip the preset not required by deleting them from the last command.
During the update it erases all the settings so at least take note of the Zoffset value.
After update during the self calibration test the display got completely messed, neither rebooting fixed it. I switched off, unplugged/replugged the dispaly flat on display side then it reboots and it did not happen anymore....mah....who knows....
I have to say that the printer is now completely free of noise. Just for that I recommend the update.
RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
Recently, the Wi-Fi on my printer has stopped working. I don’t know if something was changed in Prusa Connect and now it no longer works on Fysect versions, or if it’s just mine
RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
Same issue here. TLS Error and the printer is not able to reach Prusa Connect (the QR code it shows redirects me to at prusa.io/12401).
My current firmware is 5.1.0+5722.LOCAL, bootloader 2.3.0
I was ok not having internet access, but now my hotend now clogs once every two prints since then. Not sure if it is directly related (probably not) but if I factory reset the board the issue dissapears 😵
RE:
Has anyone checked if the internet error is present on version 6.1.2 on a Fystec board?
RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
no probs here, never did before and prusa connect worked at first shot.firmware 6.1.2 shared months ago
RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
Hello Torro, could you link the firmware you build in the comments here?
Thank you very much in advance
RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
Hello,
has anyone tested the software version 6.20 on a Prusa mini clone or even got it running?
RE:
Hi all, just got a used FYSETC mini clone. It overall seems to print pretty well, but never completes a Y axis calibration. Can someone check my calibration video and see if they can determine what’s wrong? Note that I solved the X issue, that was a loose grub screw on the motor
also, the Y motor makes This noise when it hits the stops at the end. Is this normal?
it’s my first 3D printer. Got it for $100cad so I’m not complaining about any of it so far!
It came with the 4.1.1 firmware, and now I have it on 6.3.0, modded for the flashing screen issue. It never passed this calibration in either version.
RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
I’m running the 6.3.0 with the flashing screen fix and it prints fine.
RE: Prusa mini Fysetc clone - log of a journey
Update to myself: issue was the Y axis belt holder was on backwards, causing it to hit the Y stepper, which in turn reduced the travel and causing the calibration to fail. Now that this is fixed, everything works on the printer, even all the Connect functions! Running 6.2.0 modified for the FYSETC flashing screen issue.
