PrintShift - auto-eject prints modification for prusa mini

Good day everyone,

I´ve recently discovered this project, which aims to automatise printing on prusa mini. It ejects prints and thus allows you to print continuosly (almost indefinetly).

https://printshift3d.com/

Has anybody any experience with it? Are there any similar maybe more successfull variations?
What is your opionion on this matter?

I am considering this as a way to be ale to print larger/longer models, and even maybe try to start a mini mini farm(pun intended).

Have a great day, let me know what you think!

RE:

I like the idea (seen only the youtube), maybe I will also implement it later on.

But a question, there are also screws in the middle of the bed, which would block the movement to side. Removing from the center would cause ber anomalies

I've actually built this on one of my Minis. It works surprisingly well!

Really the only issue I'm having is with bed leveling and getting a nice first layer across the entire belt. The belt is tensioned so if you have any low spots on the bed the ABL will try to compensate but the belt isn't going to conform to the low spot. This is made somewhat worse by the fact that you have to remove the three center bed supports so the belt can slide through. This makes the bed more likely to sag in the middle. It's not the end of the world and there are ways to work around it.

Definitely an awesome mod! Really love not having to babysit this printer all the time anymore.
