IKEA BESTÅ Storage Cabinet as Enclosure for MINI (works, mostly)

The IKEA BESTÅ Shelf unit with door (23 5/8 x 16 1/2 x 25 1/4 ") does work as an enclosure for the PRUSA MINI. It is not a great fit, the MINI just barely fits inside along the X-Axis. So far I haven't had any problem with overheating. The door has a significant gap which probably lets heat escape, but still does an OK job confining PLA odor to the near vicinity. It's definitely quieter than having the printer out in the open. I live in a small apartment so I wanted something that looked nice rather than the typical IKEA LACK Table setup, and the cost was not much more since I didn't have to buy acrylic and print half a roll of filament for parts.

It's really dark in there so I added a LED light on top and surrounded the walls with some white poster-board I had lying around (now it's a bit too bright). I also had a Raspberry PI3 and cheap webcam I wasn't using so I installed those. Tools and some filament fit nicely under the shelf. I could remove the shelf and have more room for the printer if heating becomes an issue, maybe. I could also mount a spool holder on the side or top, but so far that hasn't been necessary.

The bad part of this setup is it's very awkward removing the print sheet, especially for tall prints, and any kind of cleaning or maintenance needs to be done outside of the cabinet. Still, it's an interesting solution I haven't seen before, cheaper than a lot of options and much nicer looking.
