Nozzle cam possible with Nextruder?

I've had some good setups on my  mk3s's for nozzle cams, but I dont know if anyone has tried to do this on an MK4 with the nextruder ? look like maybe on the right side of it there could be some options to create something.

RE: Nozzle cam possible with Nextruder?

I doubt any of the conventional solutions from the mk3 style would transfer over to mk4. Not because of the complete redesign, but because of the input shaping and tuning change that would result from the additional weight on the assembly. Might be possible if input shaping is just not used at all, or a retune would be able to account for the extra mass, but this seems like a much bigger challenge than it was before.

I'm curious though if someone would be able to design a boroscope-style mount that would be fully self-supported (i.e. curved in behind the extruder from the power supply area), allowing for minimal change to the necessary inertial consideration. Would have to be very careful that the path back to wherever it's supported remains completely free from the active print volume at all times.
