RE: ESP32 Cam Support
Now I am curious: The XL has a USB-C outlet which does not provide any power.
Did anyone figure out if there is a way to get power from the XL for a puny consumer like a camera?
[If I remember my power consumption measurements correctly than using PLA 5 color printing was way below what the three power supplies should be able to output. (granted - my power measurement tools might not account for power spikes).]
RE:
No, no, it is not a converter "with" a USB port. It is a converter and a USB port. You need to solder the wires coming out of the DCDC converter to the USB port board. I bought a quality DCDC converter. I didn't want to use a cheap Chinese one that could give me problems with the printer. I also had to remix the cover, to accommodate the converter and port. You also have to solder some pins on the 12v-32v connection to put it on the MK4 connections.
Later I will post the design as well as the instructions.
Good idea, didn't know there was a converter with USB.
Sorry for my poor English. I try to do my best.
RE: ESP32 Cam Support
The MK4 also has a USB-C port, but it also lacks power. That's why I had to make my design to add one.

Getting stuck at inserting ISRG Root X1 Code
Hi,
So I managed to pull the root from Prusa webcam website ( https://webcam.connect.prusa3d.com/) with the use of the tutorial, but I am confused what I am supposed to do with the root code. The tutorial says: "Now we can open the certificate in a text editor and save it in the source code". Which source code? The example source code for the ESP32 Cam? When I insert this code directly into the esp32 cam example code with my right SSID + password and click compile I get the following error:
Where am I supposed to compile the root code? What is meant with the source code? I could not find the answers online unfortunately.
Thanks in advance.

RE: ESP32 Cam Support
Hello guys. Here is new oficial SW for the camera
RE: ESP32 Cam Support
Of course I installed your version straight away. Unfortunately, it's not working properly yet.
It's extremely laggy for me and the camera doesn't seem to work either. Prusa Connect connection is not working yet. I will try again tomorrow.
Otherwise I will fall back on your old version. It usually worked perfectly.
Does anyone know if there are differences in the quality of the modules? Sources for good devices? Perhaps also with an antenna and with the resistor already re-soldered.
RE: ESP32 Cam Support
On AliExpress ESP32 Cam kits with a FOV 160° camera always have 8 MB PSRAM. Can anybody confirm a 8MB board is no problem?
RE: ESP32 Cam Support
Solved it!

RE: ESP32 Cam Support
I tested only 4MB PSRAM, but 8MB PSRAM is probably fine too

RE: ESP32 Cam Support
My camera was sold with 8MB PSRAM, have not check it is really 8MB, but can confirm installation worked without any problems.

RE: ESP32 Cam Support
Is anyone using the Freenove Wrover camera? I bought one without noticing that support for this cam is still pending and I'm not smart enough to figure this out with a good guide.
RE: ESP32 Cam Support
Ok, managed to get the software installed and I can log in to the camera from my local network but I can't get any images. Refresh image
Refresh snapshot/download image etc - none of them work.
Any tips?
