Bear MK3S upgrade to MK4
Is anyone else thinking about how to make this upgrade? I am just curious if you are going to just buy a new printer or try to think about how to make the jump and upgrade?

RE: Bear MK3S upgrade to MK4
In my case, I have ordered a new printer (in kit). When I see the MK4 runs smoothly I'll be selling my Prusa Bear MK3s
Sorry for my poor English. I try to do my best.

That might be my end also. I might just keep it as an extra in my shop.

Bearing in mind the relatively small cost difference, I reckon it would be best to buy the entire kit, as you get a whole second printer out of it.
If you don't need a second printer, even with the extra cost you would probably end up spending less overall if you choose to sell the MK3S as you'll likely get more from the sale then the cost difference of the upgrade vs full kit. Sure, it's more hassle selling a printer etc, so you need to weigh up what's more convenient for you.....it's what I ended up doing and it worked quite well for me.

I might just keep my Bear and my #2 Mk3S+ that I have Bontech Extruders on. Maybe just do an electronics upgrade (3.5). I will wait for reports to see what people say. It is nice to have a bed to put different hotends on.

RE: Bear MK3S upgrade to MK4
I did this one (see https://www.printables.com/model/502515-bear-upgrade-for-prusa-i3-mk4-mk35-mk39/comments/995160), I ended up buying the kit as it was more cost effective (which was useful for comparing the ASA parts I printed va the factory PETG ones).
RE:
I upgraded my first printer to mk3.5. It is amazing. I was thinking upgrade my second printer to the MK4. But this is not possible. The length of the Y rod is to large. It is 330 mm, 10 mm longer. First I need two longer Y beams. I don't know the exact name. Maybe they will be for sale. This is also the case for mk3.9.
