Disconnects for PSU and Panic Cables

Is there any reason not to use Deutsch DT Style connectors as disconnects for the cables?

RE: Disconnects for PSU and Panic Cables

Deutsch DT connectors seem to be rated at 13Amps,
Mk3, Mk4 printers have 250 watt power supplies, at 24 volts that is a little over 10 amps,
the power is shared between two pairs of power cables, so you should be OK.
I am not sure what power supplies other printers use...

I used XT60 connectors for My power leads
Power panic doesn't need a high current, so any polarised connector will do,
Don't forget to connect the earth wire, if your printer has one.
My Mk4 has earth wires My Mk3's do not

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility.Location Halifax UK

Thanks everyone.  The XT60 connectors seem very nice - I have not seen those before.
