Where can I find a description of how "Part Manipulation" works, please?
I have an STL file loaded, I add a part (in my case a cylinder). I can unlock the scale factor and change its X, Y & Z sizes (although the original object, though unselected, moves vertically when I change the Z scaling of the selected part), but I cannot enter new values for position and rotation, although I can drag the part with the mouse - but not position it sufficiently accurately thereby.
When I type a new value in the POSITION & ROTATION fields it reverts when I hit ENTER.
Where can I find a description of how this function of the slicer works? After several hours of experiment I am getting very frustrated.
