Toolchange procedure at the end missing when using only one filament?

Hello all,

I am quite new to 3D printing and also G code. I tried to understand the toolchange procedure for MMU (cooling moves, ramming,...) to produce a fine tip before the filament change.

I created two small sample projects. One with one filament change and one without any filament change in the model. So the second model just uses the MMU to load and unload the filament at the start and the end of the print.

For the one with the filament change in the model it looks for me as this procedure to get a good tip is also done before unloading the filament at the end of the print. But for the model wihtout any toolchange within the model it looks quite different. So I mean the distances the filament is moved back and forth are different and for the model with a toolchange it not only moves the extruder, but also x and y (over the wipe tower?).
