Surface bug in slicing spiral-vase object

I am working on 3d-printing a bellows-system out of TPU, and I'm encountering an issue with PrusaSlicer.

Specifically, for air-tight-ness and better TPU printing, I want to use Spiral-Vase mode, however, when I slice it, something in the geometry seems to be tripping it up. I don't think that this is just a visual artifact, although I haven't tried printing it. As you can see in the pictures, there appears to be some "wonky" toolpath that's being generated, and curiously, this disappears when I disable spiral vase mode.

Initially I thought this was some hidden flaw in the geometry, and tried a STEP import rather than using the 3MF that I have been using, but it made no difference.

I have also tried fiddling with the settings, such as changing from arachne to classic, and a bunch of other stuff, but nothing seems to help.

RE: Surface bug in slicing spiral-vase object

I had to try 3 times just to be able to post to you here, That given, your not going to like my answer, however, you need to add modifiers to your vase mode, or rather, spiral vase mode print, the slicer , the git hub, and the prusa forums are going to all tell you that you can't add modifiers to your vase mode, (Spiral vase) prints. I can't tell you how to do this hear for obvious reasons, but I wish to assure you that this can be done, on every level and your prints can be completed successfully using modifiers. This forum is not a good place for real usable information nor is github, try to find a medium where people can share how to really use prusaslicer, without fear of being band or blocked/stifled for showing you how. I'm sorry the community is this way, but rest assured what your asking is possible.

Kind Regards

Please export project from PrusaSlicer as a .3mf file

Files > Save Project as

Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.

The moves look OK.  The gcode preview traces the path of the print head, it doesn't simulate extrusion and the effect of squishing one layer onto another...

If the actual print is loose try changing to a 0.2mm layer height and increasing the extrusion multiplier which should close any gaps.
