Supports where there was none before?

I recently switched from Cura to PrusaSlicer to further develop my 3D skills.  I then printed a part that was previously donjon Cura and for some reason, PS added income supports to an area that didn't;t have any before.  I thought it was kinda odd as the previous prints turned out fine.  Wait, they aren't 'supports, not sure what the correct term is but they go horizontal across a hole.  They are light enough to simply punch through/cut out but I'd ike to know where would I look to be able to stop this from happening on an area that seemingly doesn't need it in Cura but Prusa adds it in.

Correction, I just checked.....PS filled in a hole.  What an odd behaviour.

RE:

Seems I'm answering my own questions as I go.  I tried the 'simplify model' option, sliced and the hole is no longer covered.

If the Prusa team reads this, may I suggest NOT using a DARK BLUE to represent lines covering an opening on a DARK GREY platter by default.  I didn't even notice the whole being covered up.

Please ZIP your .3mf file and attach to a post. (It must be ZIPPED or the forum won't attach it.)

Sounds like a broken model. Are there any errors reported in the info box in the slicer?
