Slicer 2.2 provides no way to link filament to parts?

Slicer 2.2 doesn't provide any way to assign filaments to parts! At least I can't find any way. Have restarted Slicer, reloaded parts.

I'm completely blocked, can't use it this way. Any ideas? Or, how can I get back to 2.1, which worked fine...

do you mean like this David?

there is no way I would trymand print this item with all of these dissimilar filaments. it is only for demonstration.  you need to be in either Advanced or Expert mode, and you either need to have selected an MMU profile, or modified another profile to have more than one virtual extruder, (if you are using a prusa printer. )
if you actually have multiple extruders you can allocate multiple real extruders

Thank you. I found the solution, which seems quite strange. Click on "default" in the parts list while holding Control (on Mac, to simulate right-click). Then a choice menu appears which can pop down to select the filament number.

Works fine, but was not obvious to me.

@Joantabb     "(if you are using a prusa printer. )"  does this mean that a non-Prusa printer using PrusaSlicer can't create virtual extruders?

I'd love to buy a Prusa printer but the Mini is but a dream, I don't want a kit and can't afford a prebuilt Mk3s. BUT I'd like to run PrusaSlicer.

BTW are you same Joan that used to post on the PicBasic board?
