Slicer 2.2.0 freezes when opening on a new windows 10 computer
Hi, I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing a problem with the latest version of slicer on a new windows 10 computer? When I open it just freezes up and says not responding. I installed it April 10th and it worked fine for a few days but now it will not. I uninstalled it, re-downloaded the installer and installed it fresh but it still just freezes. Any help would be appreciated.

Usually problems with graphics cards. Also unless you remove all the profile information it’s not a clean re-install as I don’t think that is removed when uninstalled.
‘if it used to work then it’s either a corrupted profile or an update with your software, usually as I mention the graphics card. Are you using a dual monitor setup by the way ? Also check for any Nahimic software that may be installed as part of audio/graphic setups.

You nailed it neophyl, the Nahimic software that I installed caused the problem. I uninstalled it and now slicer is working just fine again. Thanks for your help!!!

Also you might want to read https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/2939 which is a raised issue that sounds identical to your issue, which is why I asked about dual monitor setups.
