Seam position on Aligned not straight [V2.3.3]
Slicer Version 2.3.3
Seam position: Aligned
When I Slice a part with clear edges, such as an octagonal pot, I get the following seam result, which is definitely not straight:
I thought the Mesh was the problem, but that should be fine:
In the past I did not have this problem, I looked at my older prints (1jear or so) with almost the same object and there the seam is perfectly straight and flawless.
Does anyone know what could be the reason for this?
RE: Seam position on Aligned not straight [V2.3.3]
Additional Information:
When i use the setting "Seam position: Rear" the seam is perfectly on the edge....
but i wannt all the seams to be on the same edge, so i need to use Aligned.
please someone has an idea?

The .STL seems to be a bit messy, if possible try to export it from your 3D program as an .OBJ and import that into slicer, this helps in some cases. Another thing you can do is force the seams to align using "Align" in conjunction with the seam painting tool. by carefully painting both seam enforcers, and seam blockers.
I would try the.OBJ route first. You could also try adding some geometry in the areas in question.
Good Luck

Thanks for your Reply Swiss_Cheese
I use 3mf files that i export from Fusion360, and to me the mesh looks fine..
I tried dirferent Export Quality types and nothing has caused a change.
The seam painting tool is no option, paint so precise is not possible.
I have no more ideas what to do... the Slicer does not do what it should.
Does anyone have any other ideas for me?

try changing seam position, to rear, and orientate your model so that the seam ends up where you want it!
