Removal of solid infill on a part with zero infill
Hi All
I am trying to print a RC wing with zero infill, 3 top layers and 4 bottom layers.
Every time I slice, I get a lot of unwanted solid infill. See image:
Can anyone help? Googling leads me to "ensure vertical thickness" which is removed on 2.6.1

Could you please add a project file, containing this wing section, so that other users can attempt to help you with more than guesses>
Save the project using the file menu in Prusa Slicer, then Zip compress the file, and attach the zip file to your next post, please.

I cant see any internal structure!

Hi Joan. There is some internal structure. Some very thin cuts within the model. A section view will show the detail.

The new 'improved' solid infill code yet again makes things more difficult. Until they change it to let people properly and FULLY turn it off we have to resort to workarounds with modifiers.
Try the attached project. Examine the height range modifier.

that's a different approach compared to the last wing section that I looked at,
Is this what you are looking for?
if you want thicker surfaces, you could increase the extrusion width, for external perimeters,

this was another wing section and another slicer configuration
in this version, the slit perforated the undersurface
