PrusaSlicer update for Organic Supports and Variable Layer Height?
When trying to use organic supports and Variable Layer Height (VLH) together in PrusaSlicer, the slicer currently doesn’t support this combination, and the features don’t seem to work as expected. "error: Variable layer height is not supported with organic supports"
Does anyone know if there are any updates on when PrusaSlicer will fully support organic supports and Variable Layer Height in the same print? I’ve seen that other slicers, like Bambu Studio, already offer these features, so I’m curious if there is any information on when we might expect them in PrusaSlicer.
RE: PrusaSlicer update for Organic Supports and Variable Layer Height?
No, no ones knows and there has been no word on the github issues relating to this either. This is normal for Prusa. They very rarely mention what they are or are not working on. It is also not unusual for reported issues to languish for years without being addressed. There are many closed duplicates but the main currently open issue regarding this feature request is https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/9462
If you do want to monitor the issue then that is the place to ask, not on the forum as the forum is user to user and Prusa devs rarely post here.

Thank you for your response and for pointing me to the relevant GitHub issue! I’ll make sure to comment there to share my thoughts and show support for the feature request. I appreciate you taking the time to guide me in the right direction.
