PrusaSlicer generates strange supporting structures where it doesn't need them
Hi there,
I want to print two plates with a lot of holes in it. The two plates are connected. The strange thing is when I want to generate the supporting structures it generates them also between the two plates. From my logical point of view they should only appear in the holes.
I attached some screenshots where you can see my problem.
Maybe somebody has an idea?

Have you got supports on snug or classic ?
RE: PrusaSlicer generates strange supporting structures where it doesn't need them
I had classic but I tried also snug; there wasn't a difference.
For the support settings I chose "everywhere". When I choose "For support enforcers only" then there are no supports at all.

Please post your saved project file, use file>save project as to save a 3mf file and then zip it up and attach it to a reply here. Must be zipped or the forum won’t except it. With a project file we can examine all the settings, as it’s a snapshot.

Here's the file. Thanks for your support Neophyl

No file attached. You did zip it ? If you dont it will just silently fail to attach, there is no warning that it didnt. Same if the file is larger than the forum file limit.

You were right: The zip file is 10,8 MB. Here's a link to download the 3MF file:
