PrusaSlicer dual extruder setup
I have an IDEX by another brand than Prusa. I have tried a couple other slicer programs and wanted to try PrusaSlicer which i do like with my single extruder printer.
The issue I am having is the X,Y offsets in the slicer configuration settings. I've not had problems with other slicers after watching several videos on the proper setups. With PrusaSlicer, I have not been able to find a detailed video on how to set the offsets. When I slice a multicolor object and send it to the printer one or the other extruders will print in the wrong place.
Can someone explain?

I am not sure it is possible. Prusa does not make an IDEX.

Don't have an IDEX so I've never tried this, if you change Printer settings/General/Extruders to 2 and option to set details for Extruder2. I guess Extruder offset might be helpful.

Too late to edit. Hope that works, please post if you get a working solution. I've like the IDEX idea, it seems a good compromise between cost, performance and fast two colour printing.
What printer do you have?

After fiddling with it and several tests, I finally figured it out. I actually did not have to do any offsets. I put all axis on 0 and it worked just fine. Other slicers, you have to put offsets in but with prusa, you don't.
Also, I prefer prusa over the other slicers I've tried now for both single and dual extruder printers.

I was very surprised to see that for Sovol ate least the IDEX version was the guts of twice as much.
