Prusaslicer changes speed for the same feature type
Hi Everyone,
I just recently switched to Prusaslicer and I cannot figure out why this is like this. I'm tryint to slice a standard xyz calibration cube. As you can see in the picture, it is standard Externel Perimeret alongside the wall.
But for some reason the sliced model has different speed a few layers above the bottom layer, below the X/Y charachter, above it and a couple of more below the top. This causes visible marks on the printed object. I want the outer permitere (at least for the same feature tpye) to be printed using the same speed.
Does anyone has idea what settings should I change to achive that?
Thanks in advance!

Without your project file to look at your settings its impossible to say with certainty.
However best guess (as this ALWAYS catches people out) is under your filament settings>Cooling>Cooling thresholds there is a setting called Slow down if layer print time is below: On a lot of filaments it is set to something like 15 by default. Now with small items like cali cubes or for larger parts on really fast machines like Klipper based ones this time quite often is applicable.
Its one reason I always edit my filament profiles to change that to 5 seconds. I find it also helps printing tall thin things too or parts that go to a point like a cone. In some cases I drop it to 1s for certain models.

However best guess
Well, without a project file that was a perfect guess. 🙂
Thank you very much!
