Prusaslicer adding deretract commands for vase mode prints

I've been having this issue for a long time now and I can't figure out what's going on. I'm trying to print a vase mode part but at each "layer change" PS is adding a deretract command that makes a giant blob at the seam. I don't know why it's even doing layers at all - it's set to spiral vase with zero top or bottom solid layers.

It looks like the bottom layer has holes in it, if these are separate to the perimeter, that section of the model will not be in Vase mode!

Can you post a zip compressed copy of the Project file please

regards Joan

RE:

There are no holes, the model is designed for vase mode. I've attached the 3MF as requested.

Also it tried to deretract so much and so fast that the extruder grinds the filament when it does it.
