PrusaSlicer 2.8 using insane amount of memory when slicing
So, this is an interesting one for me...I'm trying to slice a batch of 40 of a 3 colored model to print on the XL. The problem is when I go to slice, my CPU spikes for a few seconds and RAM usage maxes out pretty much until the program crashes. I saved the file as a 3mf and tried slicing the same thing through Bambu Studio and had normal amount of CPU/RAM usage I would expect when slicing that file. Is there something I can try to get this sliced for XL? A previous version recommendation perhaps?
Specs/info
- Prusa Slicer 2.8.0 W64
- Windows 10 - 64bit (double checked they were the same)
- AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
- 32 GB RAM
Going to try 2.7 in the mean time and see if that has same issue.
