PrusaSlicer 2.8.0 - Thumbnail is not sliced part
I just noticed today that the file I uploaded to KlipperScreen showed the original part, not the sliced part.
I used a negative volume to cut off most of the part as I'm prototyping something.
Well the image shown in KlipperScreen is of the orginal model, not the sliced model which caused some confusion.
The part printed as expected so that was good
Not sure if this is a bug, or just the way the thumbnails are generated

Yes the thumbnail is of the platter and not the sliced result. It is also only single colour and not multi colour.
This is how PS does it so it is normal. Different operation would be a feature change request. There is already one to handle multi colour for example https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/12782 or https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/11836
