Beta 2: Thanks guys for fixing the "die after two sends to Octoprint" bug. It was fun while it lasted but getting a bit old in the end 🙂

Windows 7 Professional

PrusaSlicer-2.4.0-beta2+win64-202111261611 is giving me this when I try to run it.

 I get the same from the PrusaSlicer-2.4.0-beta2+win32-202111261557.

Wow, I did not know anyone still used Windows 7.

I still use it. A couple of my photo applications will not run on 10

RE:

I get that.  Our hospital has a few apps you can't get for 10 and you can put computers that are Pre-10 on the network so we have to keep them off line.

@Charles

I have several applications that I paid several thousand dollars for, that won't run properly in Windows 10, and I'm not even going to mention 8.1. They are only available by subscription now, and I have paid for working versions. So yes I still use Win7.

I have windows 10 machines as well, however hoping back and forth between machines is neither desirable to me nor convenient,

and you might not have noticed but I use Slicer a lot, Windows 7 functionality is very important to my work flow & my cash flow.

Good Luck, hopefully Windows 7 will be worth supporting for a couple more versions, it's starting to look like Prusa is ready to abandon it.

Thanks for responding so quickly.
