@Diem - interesting. What would you propose to change concerning the infill?

Read @neophyl's suggestions, even fixing the solid infill threshold there's something odd going on.  Solid forces any minor inaccuracies to the surface exaggerating issues.  Cubic infill would be better here imo.

Thank you @neophyl - not pasting over the machine limits of the actual printer helped A LOT!! I was not aware that those were different - I disabled the transfer for now. The plan is to later get the values from the machine and set it right - in case I need to tweak things later.

I had the flavour set to Marlin(Legacy) on both machines - I only tried RepRap to see if it makes any difference - it did not.

Never had problems with PETG and strong cooling while printing small structures - if I reduce too much, the prints come out wobbly. 

Anyhow! Thanks for your input!
