Prusa Slicer 2.3.2 Error
Hi,
the latest Prusa Slicer 2.3.2 runs in Errors when slicing.
I have an 64 bit Windows 10 with 32GB RAM.
First the Installer installs the 32bit Version of the Slicer not the 64bit Version
I run the installer several times, (prusa3d_win_2_3_2.exe) but nothing chages.
There is only the 32bit version and the Error remains.
Round about 10 from my 32GB RAM are used
I switched back to the 2.3.1 version. The I have the 64bit Silicer an no Error.
Because I havent a github user I will post the Error here

I am also having the same issues with 2.3.2, I updated from 2.3.0 because it was giving me some issues but, I have the exact same problems happening. I can only install the 32bit version and if I try to load up certain projects the program gives me the same error and then will just crash. I have 32GB of ram as well so, I know I am not running out of memory.

Just grab the 64 bit version off github. Don't even need to install, just run the .exe file from the download folder. I never grab off the main site any more. https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/releases/tag/version_2.3.2
Prusa have probably packaged up the wrong version by mistake into the installer.
btw most of the program crashes are usually down to graphics card drivers rather than memory.

I downloaded the standalone installer, and it installed without any glitch on my Windows 10 system (64-bit).
Formerly known on this forum as @fuchsr -- until all hell broke loose with the forum software...

Same here, downloaded and installed without problem on my Win 10 64-bit machine
And, it IS the 32bit version!?

Which installer did you load?
I took the prusa3d_win_2_3_2.exe ~429MB
I downloaded it twice today at 00:30 an 14:59 local time. (Europe)
Did you downloaded the installer later?
Maybe it is fixed.

The installer on this page https://www.prusa3d.com/drivers/ have the 32-bit version
This page https://www.prusa3d.com/prusaslicer/ have the 64-bit version
Edit: I have tested the Win installer

Update 2:
I have run the FULL installer and the STANDALONE installer a couple of times.
The standalone one install 64-bit version and the full installer install 32-bit version
I have talked to live chat and he (Ivan) will talk to the developers.
Is there any difference in performance between PS 32-bit and PS 64-bit?

thanks. I took the installer from https://www.prusa3d.com/prusaslicer/ and it seems the problem is solved.
I had sliced the file that made the prblems on the 32bit version on this 64bit version without any problems
