Prusa Mini won't print what I slice with Slicer but will print the demo files on the stick..

Hi, all of a sudden my Prusa Mini won't print any files I slice with Prusa Slicer. But it will print the demo files on the stick. Anybody had this problem before? It seems there is no temperature information in the sliced gcode (it worked fine before strangely enough). Also it won't allow me to tune the temperature in the gear icon.

That doesnt really help to debug your problem though.

Gcode file at minimum (the exact one you copied to the stick, so copy it FROM the usb stick, not your Macs hdd).  This is down to the possibility that the file was corrupted as it was copied to the stick.  There have been multiple reports that the supplied USB stick that comes with the mini has issues.

At a minimum we need to see the gcode file you copied to the USB stick.  It would also be a good idea to save your project (file>save as..) as a .3mf file too.  That will allow us to see the profiles you are using.

As you cant attach a 3mf file or gcode you need to zip them up first before attaching them to your post.

Thanks for the reply. These are the files I'm using. When attempting to print it seems there is nog target temperature to ramp up to. The only thing I do in Slicer is add brim and support (on bed only) to the standard Prusament PLA profile and then slice. I have no idea what's wrong.

edit. It seems a zip file isn't allowed as an added format either so I temporarily uploaded it to my dropbox -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/pgc2r4z3vk66v8y/BC_block_4x4_v4.zip?dl=0

That seems to be the exact problem. I copied the file from my hd to a different usb-stick and now it's working fine. Thanks for the tip!

Glad you got it working.

One other thing to be aware of is that its possible to pull the USB stick out early while Prusa Slicer is still copying it so be careful of that.  I dont know if Macs have a similar unmount mechanism to windows machines but if so I'd use it with this sort of file transfer to be on the safe side.
