Problem with slicing of sharp edge
Hi!
When I slice a model I've made i get a problem with the edge of a vertical wing profile:
The original model does not show this kind of problem:
Does anybody know a workaround for this kind of problem?

If the edge is too thin, slicer will have difficulty resolving the model
the thinnest portion of the model needs to be equal to the nozzle extrusion width
IF the model has 'pointed' edges on the fins it is unlikely that there is an easy fix. XY Size correction may help if set to say 0.4mm unfortunately with a sharp edge this may simply move the issue further out on the fin.
Similarly using a smaller diameter nozzle may help, at the expense of longer print times. but again, if the fin is pointed on the edge, this may simply move the issue further out on the fin.
Ultimately it may be easier to sand the edges smooth after printing

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK
RE: Problem with slicing of sharp edge
Thanks for your reply! I've made the model myself - hence I'll try to do the edge less sharp.

Also sometimes using classic slicing instead of Arachne can also help. It has more trouble with thin edges than classic from personal observation.
