Print profiles for Wasp Clay printer, Elephant foot problems

Hello people, i'm currently  working on print profiles for Wasp Clay printer which i intent to share here. I do have some questions.

One of the most common print types for clay is vase mode and i'm struggling with an elephant foot. Usualy you print 3 or 4 solid layers on the bottom and than the vase mode starts. It however always starts zeroed on the topmost layer with no offset which preses the clay outwards and creates wisible elephant foot.

So my question is...is there a way in prusa slicer to start wase mode with an offset relative to the topmost layer of the bottom solid layers.

In the same way you can specify the start hight of the first layer but relative to the topmost layer of the bottom solid layers.

Since i know the question is a word salad i'm also attaching a picture which i hope can clarify my question somewhat.

Thank you.

I don;t really understand what youare trying to do here...
are the three bottom layers waste material, with the print starting at layer 4?

if this is the case, could the first three layers be raft layers, this would cause layer 4 to  be the first actual layer of the print!

Regards Joan

Thank you for your reply.

I'm sorry for the word salad, it is the same question as in this thread

https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/general-software-discussion/spiral-printing-clay/#post-211320

When you print in vase mode you stil have an option to specify the ammount of solid layers on the bottom. Those layers effectivly make the bottom of your vase and they are printed as a regular print (layer by layer).

After that a spiral part of the print starts (vase mode).

It however starts at zero hight (relative to already printed part) and than gradualy spirals up, zero in this instance being the top layer of the "bottom solid layers".

This displaces the soft clay on the top of "bottom solid layers" and causaes bulge / elephant foot

As far as i understand there is no way to offset this "zero hight" of spiral printing in the beggining, (the same way as you can specify first layer hight) if you have solid bottom layers selected.

I will try with wariable layer hight and report back.
