Pre-configure PrusaSlicer for student users

We have a bunch of Core Ones in our district. I've been trying to pre configure Prusa Slicer so the students don't have to go through the setup wizard when they launch the program. I've tried saving a .3mf with all the settings, but that caused a loop in PrusaSlicer where it kept trying to import the settings and opening new instances of the program.

I was thinking about exporting the settings from a reference machine, but making a teacher walk 30 kids through importing the settings seems more difficult than what I'd like to do.

Is there a way to preconfigure Prusaslicer with printers, filaments, etc? I can push settings files out to the computers with Ivanti, Group Policy, or Powershell.

We also have 120 VMWare clients. The image for these computers has to be created using Audit mode in Windows. Audit mode doesn't have individual profiles, but it does have the Default user, which it uses to create new profiles when users log in for the first time. Can I put a settings file in the Default user's profile and have Prusa Slicer open without having to go through the settings wizard?

Thanks for any help you can give me! I bought a Core One L based on the district's experience with the Core Ones. I just got it last week. I like it very much. I can't wait for INDX to come out for it.

Have you tried symlinking all the student machines'/instances' config folders to one directory on a NAS?  It's probably worth having a master copy that you can maintain and just dump to the student accessible one whenever students corrupt/misconfigure important presets.

Cheerio,
