Perimeter gap left - Slic3r vs PE Slicer

Good morning. Traditionally a Slic3r user however started using PrusaSlicer about 6 months ago. I'm struggling with it not coping on thin wall detection / infill between perimeters.

Attached a picture as a comparison. All main settings are almost identical between the programs. I've tweaked, adjusted varied the overlap, gap fill on and off. Sli3r just seems to deal better but given there both virtually identical programs I presume it must be a config issue?

1mm nozzle, 3mm wall thickness.

Any ideas to point in the right direction?

Under Print Settings->Advanced, change your extrusion widths.  Bring them down slightly.  I don't know what they are for a 1mm nozzle by default, but for a 0.4mm nozzle, the default and perimeter values are 0.45mm (0.65mm for a 0.6mm nozzle).  You can't fit three 0.45mm extrusions in 1.2mm -- extrapolating your example down to a 0.4mm nozzle.

Thanks, when I vary the extrusion widths the best I can accomplish is two internal lines from the perimeter. Thin wall detection doesn't seem to amalgamate the trace into one.

Do be sure gap fill speed is non-zero. It's not very clear, but setting this speed to 0 disables gap fill that is used when the slicer needs to fill a gap narrower than the normal extrusion width.

If you can, upload a project file.

Sorry for the late reply! gap fill.. this was the problem because I print with volumetric speed, must of stuck it to 0 because of the speed problem? and somehow missed it. Really sorry, but pleased it was an easy solution. Thank you for the help. Busy printing seed meters to go on our drill hence 1mm nozzle.
